Throughout her professional career, Vânia Silva Leal has focused primarily on Employment Law, having practised at several law firms. In the course of her professional activities, she has handled and conducted numerous judicial and extrajudicial proceedings. In advising companies, she provides preventive legal support, assisting clients throughout the employment relationship, from the execution of the employment contract to its termination, as well as in relation to the various matters that may arise during its course, including suspension of the employment contract, disciplinary proceedings and working time arrangements. She also has experience handling administrative offence proceedings before regulatory authorities, as well as judicial proceedings, representing both employers and employees. She is currently undertaking postgraduate programmes in Social Security Law and Employment Law, and has also completed several training programmes and short courses in these areas.
